Looking to bring your car to Florida, you should, we are not big on public transportation in this State! Below is some valuable information you will need to know when you relocate to Florida.
Drivers License
Drivers License: You have 10 days from establishing residency in Florida to obtain your Florida drivers license. Failure to obtain your driver’s license within 10 days, could result in a fine if you are pulled over by law enforcement. Ouch!
The only test required to obtain a license is an eye examine. Unless of course you have never legally driven before, in that case you will need to take a written examine and a driving examine. You will need to bring with you an existing drivers license, an original birth certificate (one with a raised seal), a social security card, and two pieces of mail from your new residency.
Vehicle Registration
Vehicle Registration: Your vehicle is required to be registered within 10 days of when you either: 1) Become employed 2) Place your children in public school OR 3) Establish residency in the State
